Card processing fees
Payments are processed through Stripe. Standard Stripe card fees apply (normally 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction in the U.S.). With SoleOpus you choose how those fees are handled:
- Pass the fees to the customer (the customer pays the processing cost), or
- Absorb the fees yourself
You control this setting. SoleOpus does not force either option.

There is no feature gating behind a paid plan. The core product is free.
Automatic emails and quotes are included
There is no paid tier that unlocks extra features. Confirmations and reminders, and the quote and estimate flow, are part of the free product:
- Automatic emails — a confirmation goes to the customer and a copy to the owner when a booking is made, and a reminder is sent to the customer before the appointment. You set the reminder lead time (12, 24, 48 or 72 hours) and choose what contact details to include.
- Quotes and estimates — the customer submits a request with details and photos, you set the price and deposit, and SoleOpus emails the payment link. Paying confirms the booking.
Neither of these is gated behind a monthly subscription.
When you pay the 1.19%
The 1.19% only applies when a customer successfully pays through SoleOpus (deposit or full payment). If a customer books but pays you outside the system (cash, Venmo, etc.), SoleOpus charges nothing.
